A white, human-sized figure stands upright with his legs apart. Dirty white and originally modelled loosely in clay, he resembles a Golem-like giant summoned from another time. His expression is sly. He picks at his mouth with one finger, while with the other hand he holds a large stone behind his back.
The figure emerges from the beginning of time, a kind of primal scene—the creator, if you will. He possesses great potential and an explosive primal force. In front of him, fragments of stone are scattered, releasing a sticky sludge where they have landed.
The work was first exhibited in the solo exhibition WHITE SHADOWS at Ebeling Museum in 2022.
